TSX futures edge lower after index posts fourth straight monthly gain

By 07:12 ET (11:12 GMT), the S&P/TSX 60 index standard futures contract had fallen by 16 points, or 0.8%.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index finished lower by 0.8% at 35,226.14 in the prior session on Friday.
U.S. futures gainMeanwhile, U.S. stock index futures advanced after President Donald Trump said negotiations with Iran were set to begin this week, while technology stocks eyed an ongoing recovery following bruising losses in July.
Nasdaq 100 futures ticked up by 74 points, or 0.3%, and Dow Jones futures gained 482 points, or 0.9%.
Gold inches upBuoyed by crude's retreat, gold prices edged higher.
