Baramulla, Aug 03 : National Conference (NC) will continue its campaign for the restoration of Jammu and Kashmir's statehood until the demand is fulfilled, said Chief Minister's Advisor Nasir Aslam Wani on Monday. Speaking to reporters in Baramulla, Wani, per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), said the recent protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi was the first step toward reminding the Centre of its commitment regarding statehood restoration. "We went to Jantar Mantar to remind them that the promise made to us has not been fulfilled," Wani said. He said the sequence of events promised by the Centre included delimitation, elections, and restoration of statehood. Until we get our statehood back, we will continue our work and efforts," he said—(KNO)
