An official statement from representatives for the musical, seen by Far Out, confirmed this by saying, “The forthcoming UK tour of Trainspotting The Musical, which was due to begin on 19 October, has been cancelled.” Trainspotting The Musical continues at London’s Theatre Royal Haymarket until 5 September 2026.” Whats On Stage referred to a Facebook post by actor and resident director of the show, Kieran Brown, which appears to have now been deleted but said: “The UK tour has sadly been cancelled – just not selling unfortunately for us. However, it seems that the life of Trainspotting the Musical will reach its end soon after its world premiere, as its stint in London is set to end on September 5th.
