Two-time American League Cy Young winner Tarik Skubal is on the move in a blockbuster trade. The Dodgers acquired Skubal from the Detroit Tigers in exchange for outfielder Zyhir Hope, right-handed pitcher River Ryan and right-handed pitcher Brady Smith. Even though some of his numbers were down early this season prior to the surgery, Skubal is still 7-5 with a 2.79 ERA with 116 strikeouts in 96.2 innings this season. If you thought the Dodgers were dangerous before, now look at their rotation with Skubal, Yoshinobu Yamamaoto, Blake Snell, Tyler Glasnow and Shohei Ohtani. The Dodgers won their second consecutive World Series last season by largely avoiding using any of their traditional relievers.
