Danhausen defeated Dominik Mysterio in a Human Monies on a Pole match on Night 2 of WWE SummerSlam 2026 on Sunday. Danhausen accepted the $100,000, but he ultimately refused to curse Femi out of fear of reprisal for The Ruler. In the weeks that followed, Dominik and Co. went to great lengths to get their money back, but Danhausen refused to compensate them. Danhausen vs. Mysterio was made official for SummerSlam shortly thereafter, and Dom tried to get the jump on Danhausen by sneak attacking him during a concert with Hendry. When Raw general manager Adam Pearce pressed Danhausen to pay Mysterio and The Judgment Day back the money in order to put a stop to their actions, Danhausen called for Pearce to put the "human monies" on a pole.
