— Indiana State Police are investigating a crash on Interstate 265 that occurred Sunday evening, resulting in the death of a 14-year-old passenger and serious injuries to two others. Officers from the New Albany Police Department requested assistance from Indiana State Police, who took over the investigation. John Garber and front-seat passenger Jennifer Garber, 51, also of Fort Wayne, were taken to UofL Hospital. John Garber's injuries are not life-threatening, while Jennifer Garber sustained minor injuries. The Indiana State Police were assisted by the New Albany Police Department, New Albany Fire Department, and the Indiana Department of Transportation.
