Cyclonic circulation over south Tamil Nadu to trigger rainfall across Kerala until August 7; orange alert issued in 12 districts on Monday. Thiruvananthapuram: Due to a cyclonic circulation prevailing over south Tamil Nadu, Kerala is likely to experience light to moderate rainfall from August 3 to 7, 2026, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). Meanwhile, the off-shore trough extending from the south Gujarat coast to the north Kerala coast has weakened. As per the revised bulletin, an orange alert has been issued across 12 districts in Kerala on Monday. In addition, yellow alerts have been declared for various districts over the next three days.
