This maiden electoral success establishes Jan Suraaj as a significant third force, challenging the long-standing dominance of the NDA and Mahagathbandhan in the state.
Kishor extended his lead in the Bankipur constituency, with updated figures from the Election Commission of India placing him ahead by roughly 18,953 votes.
According to ECI data, after 30 rounds of counting, Kishor has secured 63,203 votes, outstripping BJP nominee Neeraj Kumar, who stands at 44,250 votes.
They do not want a person with a criminal background or questionable conduct, character, or reputation to lead Bihar.
For Kishor to dismantle this political legacy directly within its home turf delivers a substantial setback to the ruling party's standing.
