NEVIS – Ethan Buckholtz’s trip to the state Class A meet capped off a competitive season for the Nevis boys track and field team this spring. Buckholtz earned a return trip to state, tying for 14th place in the high jump to cap off his senior season. Buckholtz won the high jump and Brennyn Ott led the field in the 800 as the Tigers scored 32 points at the 14-team Craig Haugen Invitational. At the 18-team Lions Invitational, Buckholtz took first in the high jump as Nevis scored 19.5 points as Bemidij again took first with 115 points. Brennyn Ott won the 1,600 and Buckholtz tied for first in the high jump and was the runner-up in the 200.
