NEVIS – Winning the Northland Conference title and qualifying for the state Class A meet in four events highlighted a productive season for the Nevis girls track and field team. Nevis finished seventh at the 13-team Craig Haugen Invitational with 36 points as Frazee led the field with 113.5 points. Taking first were Bjorklund in the 1,600 and Ogundeji in the 200 while Ogundeji (100), Romosz (1,600), Emily Lindow (100 hurdles) and Isaacson (discus) finished second. Ogundeji was the runner-up in the 200 and joined Frisch, Pyburn and Durgin on the runner-up 4 x 200 relay. Runner-up showings were turned in by Pyburn in the high jump, Bjorklund in the 1,600 and Romosz in the 3,200.
