MINNEAPOLIS – Park Rapids’ Avery Schueller competed at the Minnesota Senior LCM (long course meter) State Championship swimming meet as a member of the Bemidji Area Super Swimmers (BASS) team. ADVERTISEMENTSchueller placed 11th out of 62 swimmers in the 100 freestyle in 1:01.31 after finishing 14th in preliminaries with a 1:01.52. Schueller also swam on BASS’ 400 freestyle relay team and 200 freestyle relay team that both placed 12th. Schueller also was the runner-up in the 17-over 200 freestyle in 2:22.28 and took third in the 17-over 100 butterfly in 1:16.67. Schiller and Tackett were members of BASS’ Boys Senior 200-meter freestyle relay team that took 14th in 2:09.34 and the 200-meter medley relay team that finished 14th in 2:27.59.
