A man has been arrested after what Winnipeg police say was a random stabbing near the Canadian Museum for Human Rights Saturday. Officers responded to the incident just after 6:30 p.m., police said in a release Sunday. A man in his 20s was waiting for the bus at a stop on Israel Asper Way when he was stabbed by someone who appeared unexpectedly, the release said. Winnipeg police said the suspect fled but was found a short time later in the nearby Forks Market area. A 35-year-old man has been charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon, and failing to comply with conditions of a release order.
