SRINAGAR: Director of Information Shreya Singhal on Monday reviewed preparations for the inaugural International Film Festival of Jammu & Kashmir (IFFJK), directing officials to ensure timely completion of all arrangements and close coordination among departments ahead of the four-day event scheduled in September. She instructed officials to complete all preparations within the stipulated timelines and ensure smooth coordination among all stakeholders for the successful conduct of the festival. Officials informed the meeting that preparations for the event are progressing according to schedule. The first International Film Festival of Jammu & Kashmir will be held from September 7 to 10 under the theme “Rang-e-Cinema”. According to the organisers, the festival has received more than 1,100 film entries from over 50 countries across categories including International Competition, Short Film and Bharat Panorama J&K Select.
