But unlike most mini PCs in this size category the DeskMini lineup don’t use mobile processors: they feature motherboards with Intel or AMD sockets that let you bring your own CPU. Ahead of next week’s Computex show in Taiwan, ASRock is introducing two new models: the Intel-powered DeskMini B860 and the AMD-equipped DeskMini X600/USB4. ASRock hasn’t said much about the new model other than that it works with Intel Core Ultra processors, “supports Thunderbolt 4, offers quad-display output, and supports CSODIMM memory,” which is basically a newer type of SODIMM with an integrated clock driver chip that should lead to better performance and reliability in some situations.
