Conceived around Spotify’s “I-Pop” editorial ecosystem, the event is designed to spotlight Indian pop music outside the film industry. In a press statement, Spotify said that its Home of I-Pop hub, which includes playlists such as I-Pop Icons, I-Pop Party, I-Pop Mohabbat and I-Pop Rising, now has close to two million followers.
