Zee Music Company Extends to South India with Upcoming Film Soundtracks

Zee Music Company (ZMC) is aiming to expand beyond its Hindi catalogue by partnering with emerging artists across languages, regions and genres, building off the launch of Malayalam film soundtrack Balan: The Boy and hip-hop reality show Kerala Underground.
Zee Music has acquired the music rights for multiple upcoming movies such as Malayalam film I’m Game, directed by Nahas Hidayath, Telugu films Vikramarka, Pallaburusu, Happy Journey, and Mega 158, while the Tamil lineup includes Slumdog: 33 Temple Road starring Vijay Sethupathi and Tabu, with music by Harshavardhan Rameshwar.
Kannada film soundtracks releasing via Zee Music Company include Birbal: Case 2, Vibhrama and Mangala Gowri.
The label’s next big project, with music currently rolling out, is gangster flick Toxic, featuring Yash, Kiara Advani and more, releasing in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam.
