The fire at Milton Farm, in the Pembridge and Shobdon area near Leominster, broke out on Sunday evening with eight fire crews battling the flames at its height. Homes and businesses in the surrounding area were also told to keep all windows and doors closed due to smoke. Recent dry conditions have contributed to a number of large fires in the county, including a wildfire on Hanter Hill near Kington, coming dangerously close to one man's home .
