The inferno, which started on Sunday evening at a farm in the Shobdon and Pembridge area near Leominster, lit up the night sky after darkness fell.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said eight fire crews were at the scene trying to bring it under control at its height.
A spokesperson said there were still two crews at the scene at 7am on Monday, as it had scaled down the response.
