Prior to joining EDVA, Theo served as Deputy Attorney General for Criminal Justice and Public Safety in the administration of Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares. Theo’s previous positions include two years at Main justice as a law enforcement and intergovernmental liaison in the Office of Legislative Affairs, and 32 years in the Arlington County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, the last 8 as the elected CA. Theo earned her law degree attending night school at the American University Washington College of Law; she earned her undergraduate degree in political science and journalism from Northern Illinois University.
