Fresh off a special in-store performance at Phonica Records, British electronic act Mount Kimbie – Kai Campos and Dominic Maker – today release their fabric presents compilation. Following the release of the project’s first exclusive track ‘Monroe’ – an ode to the group’s 2017 track ‘Marilyn’ featuring Mica Levi – Mount Kimbie now unveil ‘Jomox’. Speaking about the mix, Mount Kimbie’s Kai Campos says:“The mix is based around the last two years of getting deeper into the clubbier side of Mount Kimbie. I think the more cerebral side of Mount Kimbie has been covered in previous mixes, so I wanted this one to be more direct, while still including a few nods to our past.” To commemorate their contribution to fabric presents, Mount Kimbie will DJ and host a special club night at fabric on Sept 12th, which will also include sets from Yu Su, DJ Python, Galcher Lustwerk, Tijana T, Leo Gosh and Mor Elian.
