You will support day-to-day content operations, drive platform improvements and migrations, and help embed metadata, governance and records-management best practice across the organisation.
Key responsibilities● Deliver operational information management services in line with the client’s policies, standards, and information governance frameworks, ensuring a consistent and compliant content management lifecycle across platforms● Create, configure, and maintain sites, workspaces, document libraries, channels, views, and pages to support day-to-day business operations● Assist staff and external partners in applying content rules, metadata standards, lifecycle practices, and records management protocols consistently● Act as a liaison between content owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams● Configure and administer SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and associated M365 services, including permissions, security/compliance settings, records management, and search configuration● Support optimisation and enhancement of the enterprise content management platform and related document/records platforms, including analysis and implementation of extensions and integrations● Design, implement, and maintain content-centric workflows and automation (Power Automate templates, custom apps, forms, extensions) to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance● Plan, document, and execute content migrations, both ad-hoc and project-based, ensuring content integrity and metadata quality; produce migration reports● Support development, enrichment, and maintenance of metadata models, term sets, taxonomies, and classification structures in line with governance and terminology policies; support implementation of externally defined taxonomies● Analyse existing content structures, information architectures, metadata implementations, and navigation models; document findings and propose evidence-based recommendations● Evaluate content quality, consistency, lifecycle alignment, and compliance; identify gaps, redundancies, and risks● Organise and deliver awareness sessions, workshops, and user training based on identified needs and analytical findings● Define, apply, and continuously improve document templates, content standards, and metadata models● Provide subject-matter support for records management activities, including file plans, retention schedules, and lifecycle steps● Provide 2nd- and 3rd-line support for content, platform, and process-related issues, including root-cause analysis and follow-up improvements● Configure and support AI-enabled content processing and machine-teaching models for validated content analysis and classification use cases● Produce clear, structured documentation covering content delivery mechanisms, requirements, processes and system behaviours● Contribute to continuous improvement through documentation, enhancement proposals, and other information-management tasks as requested● Perform any other duties within the scope of enterprise content management and analysis, as requiredRequired profile● University degree with at least 3 years’ experience in enterprise content management — OR a non-university degree with at least 5 years’ experience in enterprise content management● At least 5 years of professional full-time experience, following award of the diploma, in positions related to the above tasks● At least 4 years’ experience working with the SharePoint platform● At least 2 years’ experience with the Microsoft 365 platform, including modern and classic pages● At least 2 years’ experience working with information management best practices● At least 2 years’ experience working with enterprise content management platforms, including their configuration and development● English at CEFR B2 level or higher, written and spoken Advantageous experience● Experience working in the epidemiology and/or public health sector (at least 6 months)● Two years of professional experience in a multi-cultural and multi-lingual environmentAPPLY NOW WITH SKILLBOURG
