Over 20 people were arrested as part of an undercover operation targeting people trying to sexually exploit minors. Last week, the Blaine Police Department led an undercover exploitation sting to identify people looking to engage in illegal activity with people they thought were minors. Throughout the two-day operation, 368 people responded to the investigators’ online advertisement. Police said that as a result, 24 people who offered to pay for sexual conduct with a person they thought was underage were arrested. Blaine officials noted that several of the people arrested were repeat offenders and one was a registered sex offender.
