Fermanagh and Omagh District Council has been awarded Green Flag status for 2026 at Broadmeadow in Enniskillen, Grange Park in Omagh, Forthill Park in Enniskillen and Gortin Glen Forest Park in Omagh. The Green Flag Award was established in 1996 as a national standard for well-managed parks and green spaces. Broadmeadow and Grange Park have retained the award for the third year in a row, while Forthill Park and Gortin Glen Forest Park have been recognised for the second year running. Gortin Glen Forest Park, Grange Park and Forthill are also home to some of the district’s most popular play facilities. Councillor Debbie Coyle, chair of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, said: "We are absolutely delighted that four of our parks have once again achieved Green Flag Award status for 2026.
