The defendant appeared in custody at Enniskillen Magistrates Court, charged with making to a police officer a threat to kill a family member on July 31. A police officer told the court that officers were contacted about the defendant who allegedly spoke to them by telephone from the Westville Hotel. They had received a report earlier that he had made a threat to kill his step- sister on Facebook. He told officers that he had brought the £10,000 to Enniskillen to buy a boat so he could drown himself. He was remanded in custody to appear again at Enniskillen Magistrates Court on August 24.
