But are we now falling out of love with one of coastal living’s most quintessential trappings – the humble beach hut?
New figures say Norfolk huts lost 13pc of their value last year - a drop second only to West Sussex, which saw prices plummet by 35pc.

"We're not the north Norfolk coast, we love having our beach huts for the kids and the people who come over.
Hut prices soared by 37pc in 2022, the year after lockdown ended and climbed a further 8pc the following year.
