Micah Brown, 40, is alleged to have used a mobile phone to capture footage of the women’s genitals, buttocks, or underwear without their consent and for the purpose of obtaining sexual gratification. The upskirting is said to have occurred in Norwich’s popular nightlife district in May and June 2025. Brown, of Pyes Yard, Norwich, pleaded not guilty to operating equipment beneath the clothing of another without consent. He will appear at Norwich Crown Court for a trial preparation hearing on August 28, with CCTV and mobile phone footage being sought by his defence team. Campaigners have raised concerns about men covertly filming "nightlife content" featuring women in the street, then making money by posting videos online.
