Norfolk County Council said that Waters Lane in Hemsby will be closed to traffic until Thursday, August 6. Essex and Suffolk Water will be working at the site to repair to the burst water main. While the road remains closed, motorists are being diverted along North Road and The Street. The county council said the closure is necessary "because of the likelihood of danger to the public or serious damage to the road, or both".
