Norfolk County Council has proposed building a toucan crossing on Greenway Lane, near the junction with Holt Road, along with other safety improvements aimed at protecting those travelling around the town. Robert Jamieson, Norfolk County Council local representative for Fakenham & The Raynhams Division, said: "I strongly support the introduction of a toucan crossing on Greenway Lane, as it will significantly improve safety for pedestrians and cyclists in the area. "To help inform the design, I urge residents, and those with an interest, to take part in this consultation. The council has launched an informal public consultation and is encouraging people to share their feedback.
