Hampstead Beekeepers to offer beginner beekeeping course this fallHoneybees (Photo: MGN Online / dni777@ Flickr / CC BY 2.0)Hampstead, NC (WWAY) — A local beekeeping organization will offer a seven-week course this fall for people interested in learning how to care for honeybees. Hampstead Beekeepers is accepting registration for its annual Beginner Beekeeping Class. According to the organization, instruction will be provided by experienced members of the North Carolina State Beekeepers Association. Registration costs $75 and includes course materials, memberships in Hampstead Beekeepers and the North Carolina State Beekeepers Association, a club T-shirt and first-year mentoring.
