Cheshire College – South & West and Macclesfield College now operate as a single institution following the successful completion of a legal merger, reshaping the education landscape across the region. Together, the new college will serve more than 15,000 learners each year, including over 6,000 young people, around 1,500 apprentices and thousands of adult learners. It also seeks to help develop a workforce to drive economic growth across Cheshire and beyond. The college works with more than 1,500 employers across local, regional and national networks to help address skills gaps and build a strong talent pipeline. Learners can expect continuity throughout their studies, with the merger designed to enhance opportunities while ensuring a seamless transition.
