One crew from Runcorn was sent to Princeway in Frodsham at around 5.05pm after reports of a fire in the open. A spokesman said it was started close to a car park. They said: “Firefighters were called to a fire involving shrubland next to a car park. “A hose reel was used to extinguish the fire that is believed to have been started deliberately.”
