On the human side, Adam said the Network, which supports farmers across Cumbria, Northumberland and the Yorkshire Dales, has become a landing place for farmers in distress.

North Cumbria MP Julie Minns said she was "concerned by the mental health challenges facing many farmers across North Cumbria", and stressed that farming is "at the heart of our rural communities".
"There is more to do, but I want farmers across North Cumbria to know that their concerns are being heard," she said.
