Officers from Eden Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out the stop as part of enquiries into suspected drug supply activity. During a search of the vehicle, one male was found to be in possession of cannabis. The driver of the van was also dealt with by officers after it was found he only held a provisional driving licence. Police said the driver claimed he had met someone through Instagram who provided him with a card and told him he was allowed to drive. He was reported for the offence and the vehicle was seized.
