The Hammond’s Pond Café in Carlisle began welcoming visitors again on July 26 under the management of local couple Eben Meyers and Leona Miller.
Mr Meyers and Ms Miller said: "We’re a local family who have recently taken over the management of Hammond’s Pond Café, and we’re incredibly excited to be part of its next chapter.
"We’ve lived in the Currock and Upperby area for the past 15 years, and our three children have all attended local schools and nurseries, so we felt that Hammond’s Pond Café was the perfect fit for us.
Michael Barry, assistant director of thriving places at Cumberland Council, said: "It’s great to see Hammond’s Pond Café reopen under new management.
The Secretary of the Friends of Hammond’s Pond group, Mr Barry has also welcomed the café’s return, calling it a boost for the park.
