Later in the day, Debbarma extended his inspection to the Bodhjung ST Boys’ Hostel and the ST Girls’ Hostel at Women’s College in Agartala.
The minister interacted with students at both institutions to understand their needs and gather feedback on the facilities available.
He remarked that every initiative aimed at improving students’ welfare represents a long-term investment in developing a skilled, educated and confident generation.
Reaffirming the government’s commitment to strengthening hostel infrastructure and safeguarding students’ well-being, the minister said the administration would continue monitoring hostel facilities across the state to ensure transparency, accountability and quality standards are maintained.
