Following the tip-off, The Standard contacted Unite spokesperson Kemo Bojang for confirmation. While Bojang stopped short of confirming the reported alliance, he acknowledged that the party is engaged in ongoing discussions with political stakeholders. He also disclosed that the Unite Party is participating in discussions led by the Coalition Task Force. When specifically asked whether the Unite had reached an agreement to form an alliance with NUP, Bojang declined to comment.
