This weekend couldn’t have gone much worse for the Rangers, who were swept by their in-state rivals. It raises the possibility of pushing the Rangers into surprise late sellers with the deadline 18 hours from now. Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic wrote Sunday morning that the Rangers weren’t ruling out a sale, especially if they lost today’s series finale. ESPN’s Jeff Passan similarly suggested this evening that there’s at least a chance Texas could make Jacob deGrom or Corey Seager available. Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports that Texas has received some recent trade interest in each of deGrom, Seager and designated hitter Joc Pederson.
