A man is back in prison after leading police officers on a high-speed pursuit through Hyson Green.
The vehicle reached speeds of approximately 75 mph along Gregory Boulevard, where 20 mph and 30 mph limits are in place, as it was pursued by officers.
Steven Sunderland was arrested at the scene and taken into custody, where he was charged with multiple offences.
“Thanks to the professionalism and training of all the officers and control room staff involved, the vehicle was brought to a safe stop.
“I am pleased Sunderland has swiftly admitted to a number of offences, including dangerous driving, and is now waiting to learn his fate.”
