Provided / CHPSOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – South Lake Tahoe California Highway Patrol officers were involved in a short pursuit on Thursday, July 30 with an electric motorcycle. The electric motorcycle was being ridden in a reckless manner, including wheelies, crossing in front of traffic on a busy highway, and speeding. The electric motorcycle was impounded under a code that requires it to be impounded for a minimum of 48 hours. The rider has also been in contact with the South Lake Tahoe Police Department for similar activities.
