August 3, 2026Attention Diversion…Mysuru: A miscreant, diverting the attention of mother and son duo, has allegedly stolen cash and gold jewellery which was kept in the dicky of a scooter. 3.40 lakh cash and a pair of gold earrings, are Shakuntala Sahu and Birendra Kumar Sahu, residents of Hootagalli in city. After collecting the cash at the Bank, they kept the cash and a pair of gold earrings in the dicky of their scooter (KA-09-H-3050). While the mother and son were waiting at the garage, a man told them that their money had fallen and the mother and son went and picked up Rs. When they returned back to the garage, they found the dicky open and the cash and gold earrings missing and later lodged a complaint at Vijayanagar Police Station.
