The injunction has been granted to help ensure uninterrupted running of this year's event by preventing unauthorised camping on the seafront. Tendring Council, which organises the event, successfully applied for the order at the High Court of Justice in London on July 29. The restricted areas include the south side of Marine Parade West from Clacton Pier to Collingwood Road, as well as the Martello Bay area. Covered roads include Hastings Avenue between West Road and Selsey Avenue, Marine Parade West, and West Road from the Marine Parade West/Wash Lane junction to Hastings Avenue. Car parks named in the order include Hastings Avenue, Hastings Bay, and Martello Coach and Car Park.
