Alan Jones’ trial has commenced in Sydney with nine allegations from ‘Complainant J’ first to be heard on the witness stand. The Crown has said that none of the alleged victims consented to being touched or kissed by the veteran broadcaster. Jones arrived in court walking with a cane and kept his head down before the media throng. She said:“You will see evidence in Hadley’s own words of his resolve to destroy Jones and to one by one tear his supporters apart.” More than 70 crown witnesses are expected to give evidence, as well as character witnesses for Jones.
