Hanford Mayor Mark Kairis will not seek re-election to the City Council, concluding his tenure on the dais after a single, four-year term.
Hanford Councilman Travis Paden, however, has filed to run for another term as Hanford voters prepare to decide three City Council races in November.
The big picture: Three of Hanford’s five City Council seats will appear on the Nov. 3 ballot.
Paden is seeking reelection in District A.
Hanford council members are elected by district to four-year terms.
