Nitro, WV (WOAY) Two Kanawha County residents are facing felony child neglect charges after deputies say three young children were found living in dangerous conditions inside a Nitro home. The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a home on Red Oak Drive, where they discovered mud, trash, insects, dog feces, broken glass, and no running water. 28-year-old Seth Daniel Lockhart and 26-year-old Aryanna Marie Evans are each charged with child neglect creating risk of injury. The three children were removed from the home and placed in the custody of Child Protective Services. Lockhart and Evans await further court proceedings in South Central Regional Jail on $25,000 cash bonds for each of them.
