At the end of July, Hypertext wrapped up its second State of Work Survey. As the name suggests, this Survey is focused on finding out how South Africans work, where they chose to do it, and the tools they leverage to do so. “Hybrid working patterns during Covid forced a rethink of how we connect, collaborate, and create. While South Africans yearn for the freedom of hybrid work, many are still stuck at an office cubicle, with 30.9 percent noting that their current work situation is fully in the office. As for hybrid and remote work, they are pretty much the same, sitting at 27.8 percent and 28.9 percent, respectively.
