Following reports of a suspected explosion to Suffolk Police, officers attended Princes Street at 8.45pm. After officers arrived, tenants in the flats had been evacuated as a precaution, and no injuries were reported. A cordon was in place on Friday and into Saturday morning, with Queen Street also being closed off to cars. "It must literally have been something hard that hit the window because the window shattered." Glass could be seen shattered over Princes Street, near Wolsey House, the following morning.
