This is the first of our pitches from those standing to be the leader of Scottish Labour.
Despite 20 years of SNP government, they did not trust Scottish Labour had the answers to change that.
For Scottish Labour that process has been one of consistent decline.
It is why I am standing to lead the Scottish Labour Party.
We need a Scottish Labour Party that speaks confidently about work, industry, economic growth and wealth creation.
