Kohima, August 2 (MExN): The Catholic Association of Nagaland (CAN) has expressed profound grief over the demise of Naga Mothers' Association (NMA) president Vilanuo Angela Yhome, describing her as a humble, dedicated and devout Catholic who devoted her life to serving both the Church and society.
In a condolence message, the association said Yhome had served in various positions in Church laity associations with sincerity and commitment, and that the Catholic community was grateful for her life and contributions.
Describing her as a woman who served people with zeal and fervour, CAN said Yhome lived a life rooted in faith and dedicated to preparing for "heaven through service".
The association said her passing was a great loss to the community and prayed that God would grant her eternal rest and the reward of heavenly life.
The association also called upon the faithful to emulate Yhome's life of humility, service and commitment to Christian values.
