While on one hand man is trying to reach the highest pinnacle of scientific progress, on the other hand in the present era human values and faith, sympathy, honesty, kindness, love, restraint etc are declining. The decline of human values in modern India is a serious concern driven by rapid modernization, materialism, and the erosion of traditional community support systems. National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) reports, while conventional physical crime rates show marginal improvements, technology-driven offenses have skyrocketed. The NCRB Crime in India 2024 Report highlighted a sharp 17% surge in cybercrimes, driven by AI-enabled financial frauds and scams that target vulnerable citizens by exploiting trust and digital illiteracy.
