An improvement notice has been issued after an electrician fell from a height at the Scottish nuclear power station. The worker employed by Dalkia Facilities Ltd, a technical facilities management and energy services provider, fell from portable steps while replacing a light fitting. They sustained serious leg injuries following the fall in the Essential Supplies Building at the East Lothian site. ONR has taken enforcement action against Dalkia Facilities Ltd under the Work at Height Regulations 2005: Regulation 4(1). Dalkia Facilities Ltd is required to comply with the notice by October 27.
